Lockheed Martin Proposal Analyst in Owego, New York
Description: Develops, plans and schedules proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specifications. This individual would be responsible for:
o Estimating labor hours in regards to in-house manufacturing build.
o Compiling the labor estimates as well as the leadtime/capacity assessment based on the RFP specifications.
o Researching and analyze historical data.
o Developing cost models to support proposal efforts.
o Developing and applying factors
o Participating in certifications, fact-finding, negotiations and audits relative to the labor estimates, as well as participating in any should-cost and pricing reviews with management and the Program Office
o If necessary, participating as a member of the contract negotiating team.
• Responsible for creating and presenting hardware support package to Operations leads as well as Program Office as required.
• Support Operations Excellence Team (OET) Site Lead with management of onsite OETs. Responsibilities include:
o Assisting OETs with team forming, goal definition, monthly scorecard updates and support team meetings.
o Support in metric tracking and verification for monthly status updates.
o Facilitating team recognition events.
o Supporting and motivate individual OETs as needed to ensure consistency across the site.
o Participating in weekly OET meetings as well as support quarterly review meetings with Management.
o Supporting and facilitate 6S Audits, team management, and scoring updates as needed.
o Support PWB Area
Desired Skills: SAP/HCE/WBOE/GenBOE knoweldge. Advanced excel skills including, vlook-up formulas, and pivot tables.
Production Proposal Experience a plus
Printing Wiring Board Knowledge a plus
Basic bill of material understanding including indented parts list.
• Sound communication and analytical skills.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with other support groups/teams.
• Experience with MS Excel, and other MS Office products
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
