This is a developing role that will be responsible for processing the day-to-day activities associated with Institutional Trust accounts. This individual will assist in office operations including cash processing and fund accounting. In addition, assist Trust Administrators with the administration and retention of our growing institutional business (specifically focused on Foundations, Endowments, qualified and non-qualified plans). The key responsibility for this individual will be to ensure that these accounts are administered in accordance with the terms of governing instruments, organizational policies and procedures, and State and Federal laws. In this role, the individual will interact with clients and our business partners across the organization.


  • Account management including analyzing agreements, procuring proper account documentation, insuring compliance, monitoring operations output and effecting distributions and other account-related transactions

  • Prepare the fund accounting reports for assigned relationships within the stated service level times for each clients

  • Improving client satisfaction through periodic contact, analysis clients’ problems and concerns, and assistance to clients with their financial needs

  • Build knowledge of applicable fiduciary and tax laws through attending seminars and courses in order to deliver thorough and authoritative solutions to clients

  • Deepen relationship with current clients through additions or upgrades to accounts and supports field advisors in winning new business

  • Work in a team environment to provide high levels of service to clients and support to Portfolio Managers or Wealth Advisors who share in the servicing of client relationships

  • Review, interpret and implement policies and procedures within compliance and departmental guidelines



Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of financial services or accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Trust administration experience

  • Knowledge of trust systems

  • Knowledge of accounting principals

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of cash and security transactions and trust operations

  • Strong analytical skills and sound understanding of investment concepts

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
