BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) R&D Technician I in Tempe, Arizona

This position assists with engineering activities and performs tasks associated with those activities

This position is part of the MDR Project Team whose responsibility is to support remediation activities to meet the upcoming EU MDR timing.

  • Perform various processes for development and packaging which are primarily done in a clean room environment. This requires following SOPs and GMPs.

  • Assist in the execution of test protocols and procedures. Sets up and operate test equipment and record measurements with limited supervision.

  • Provide process/test method training to manufacturing/QC personnel.

  • Assist with projects and qualifications when needed.

  • Communicate effectively with co-workers.

  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork.

  • Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in pilot manufacturing processes.

  • Perform inspection of own work and work done at prior pilot operations.

  • Assist in training of others; including regular full time and subcontract personnel.

  • Work with little supervision.

  • Complete work on time through initiative and self motivation.
